The Striped Hairstreak (Satyrium liparops) is a tiny gray-brown hairstreak with lots of white striping along the ventral-side forewing and hindwing. This differs from similar hairstreaks which have bands, ovals/dots, or far fewer stripes. In addition to the orange along the hindwing edge, there is a prominent orange cap on the blue semi-oval. You can pair this field mark with the striping that almost covers the wings for a confident id.
